    • Names, dates of birth, and dates of passing of loved ones.

  • Time Capsule Data: If you use the Time Capsule feature, we store video/audio files, letters, and the email addresses of recipients you wish to notify in the future.

  • Guestbook Entries: Names and messages left by visitors on a memorial profile.

When you access our website or scan a QR code, we (and our service providers, like Wix and Google) may automatically collect:

  • Device Data: IP address, browser type, and operating system.

  • Usage Data: Pages viewed, time spent on pages, and scan locations (if location services are enabled by the user).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data for the following purposes:

  • To Provide the Service: Hosting the digital memorial profile linked to your physical QR code.

  • Order Fulfillment: Manufacturing and shipping your custom steel plaque.

  • Communication: Sending you the "Start Building" link, order updates, and Time Capsule notifications.

  • Security: Verifying access via PIN codes (if enabled on a profile).

3. Public Nature of Memorial Profiles

Important: The core function of Endless Memories QR is to share a legacy.

  • QR Code Access: By default, anyone who scans the physical QR code on the plaque can view the digital profile (photos, bio, and videos).

  • Privacy Controls: As the creator, you have the option to "Hide" specific sections (like the Family Tree or Guestbook) or PIN-protect the profile to restrict access to family members only. You are responsible for managing these settings in your Editor.

4. How We Store Your Data

  • Cloud Infrastructure: Your memorial data (text, photos, and videos) is stored securely on Google Firebase, an enterprise-grade cloud platform.

  • Data Retention: Our mission is to preserve memories "forever." We retain memorial data indefinitely unless you request its deletion.

  • Time Capsules: Content uploaded to a Time Capsule is stored securely and remains inaccessible to the public until the "Unlock Date" you selected has passed.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others. We only share data with trusted third parties necessary to operate our business:

  • Wix: For hosting our online store and processing payments.

  • Google Firebase/Netlify: For hosting the digital memorial application and database.

  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).

6. Your Data Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.

  • Edit: You can update or change the memorial profile content at any time using your admin access.

  • Delete: You may request the permanent deletion of a memorial profile. Please note that deleting a profile will render the physical QR code inactive.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Memorial profiles can be secured with a 4-digit PIN, and all data transmission occurs over encrypted (SSL) connections.
